With 16 years of experience at the company, Gemma, our Senior Web Designer, has been an integral part of JE Consulting, playing a key role in shaping our approach to web design, user experience, and client success.
When Gemma started at JE Consulting – as part of the graphic design and web team – she split her role equally between the two.
Over time, her passion for web design led her to focus solely on this side of marketing, and allowed her to refine her skills in designing, building, and maintaining websites.
Today, as the Senior Web Designer, Gemma also takes on a leadership role, guiding the web developers and designers as part of the wider senior leadership team.
“My expertise is primarily in the design and layout of websites and eshots – making these visually appealing and, most importantly, ensuring they produce leads for our clients,” Gemma explains.
“Ultimately, we’re looking to deliver high-performing, aesthetically pleasing designs that are instrumental in the success of our clients’ online presence.”
Creativity in the everyday job
One of the things Gemma loves most about working at JE Consulting is the variety in her day-to-day work.
“No two days are the same, which keeps every day interesting,” she says.
“We have a great team within the company which I can bounce ideas around, as well as some awesome clients who let me be creative with their branding.”
Gemma has witnessed significant changes in technology and the way we work during her time at JE Consulting.
She fondly recalls setting up the first pages for clients, back when businesses were just starting to recognise the importance of social media.
“To see how this has changed is incredible,” she says. “Back in the day, social media was a bit of an afterthought, but it’s grown into a key part of what JE Consulting does, with its own dedicated team.”
Significant contributions and lasting memories
Gemma’s contributions over the years have helped JE Consulting grow into the dynamic agency it is today.
“Being part of the growth of JEC and (hopefully) contributing to where we are today is one of my most significant achievements,” she says.
Her involvement in various projects has shaped the company’s trajectory and produced genuine results for our clients.
“Working here for 16 years, I have grown up here and have made many lasting memories along the way.
“I have been lucky enough to grow professionally and personally, learning from some incredible people for which I am extremely grateful and will forever remember.”
When asked what sets JE Consulting apart, Gemma’s answer is simple: the people.
“We have a great team of dedicated, knowledgeable people who are fantastic at what they do and are always on hand to help when needed.
“This collaborative and supportive environment is what makes JE Consulting a creative community – rather than a strict workplace.”
